“ As a Lebanese native, I’m often skeptical of restaurants that put modern twists on authentic Lebanese cuisine. However, Souk Taboule was a delightful surprise. The menu is rich with classics like tabbouleh, hummus, and shawarma, using fresh, high-quality ingredients that tasted like home. We tried the batata harra, foul with fresh saj bread, taouk and beef shawarma platters and all were impeccable . The service is attentive and the staff is very friendly! It is also worth mentioning that the place was almost full, however our order did not take more than 5 minutes to be served! I left impressed and satisfied, eager to return for more. You get seated on a table, scan the menu with QR code (standard) and have to walk to the cashier to place the order and pay upfront, after which the server will bring your food to the table. Our group went here on a day with great weather and sat outside on the patio and had an amazing time catching up. The location of the restaurant is beautiful and close to the Distillery district (one of my fav spots in the city). The food was amazing and the quantity was more than sufficient. They have plenty of vegetarian options as well and they taste great. They don't take reservations unless it's a large party of 10 people or more. ”

While this is a growing chain with Tabule restaurants scattered across the city, this is the only 'Souk' location which has a more laid-back vibe. I've been here twice now and the food is consistently amazing - this time tasting Beruit pulled chicken, shish tawuk (this really is amazing) and chef's sampler. Definitely take a look at the meal option for 2 as this includes a good selection of dishes. Put this down as one of your next culinary destinations! ”
